Why Donate Blood?
Here at Gilbert Queen Creek Emergency Veterinarian & Pet Urgent Care, we offer the opportunity for healthy patients to donate blood to other furry friends in need. Dogs and cats both need blood in many emergency situations, and involving our healthy pets to help donate is a fun and rewarding experience for both pet owners and their loved ones. We have partnered with Canine Blood Heroes, a company that specializes in the canine donation process and blood products.
Blood typing is FREE and donating blood only takes a 30-minute visit to the office. That donation may just save a life today!
Donating blood is rewarding for both parties and comes with incentives!
We offer free HeartGard prevention to our donors! At time of donation, your pet will get to choose a toy, and receive a bag of treats. A $50.00 credit for other vet services will be offered at the time of donation. Our donors also receive social media recognition!
